We're looking for a Cloud Data Architect to join our VA team, designing and owning the technical architecture of an enterprise-scale, multi-cloud data and analytics platform serving thousands of VA users and mission-critical Veteran data. What you'll be doing: Own and document cloud data architecture across a multi-cloud environment with a primary focus on Azure and Azure Databricks Lead data architecture modernization efforts including migration strategy, data modeling, and platform engineering Design and implement governance, security, and compliance strategies for a platform handling sensitive Veteran PII and PHI Enable data science and AI/ML capabilities on the platform including model deployment infrastructure and data pipelines Collaborate with data engineers, an
