Databricks is looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team. You will report to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting and play a hands-on role in the full accounting close cycle for revenue recognition — from executing on non-standard contract terms identified by Revenue Assurance, to performing UATs on new system logic, to preparing financial reporting deliverables for internal and external stakeholders. Own the close, end to end. Perform monthly close activities including usage review, journal entry preparation, flux analyses, account reconciliations and analytics — and continuously look for ways to compress the timeline. Apply ASC 606 with precision and judgment. Ensure proper application of ASC 606 to customer contracts, including assessing non-standard terms, documenting accounting conclusions and navigating evolving policy interpretations as our product portfolio grows.
