We are looking for an accounting professional with a finance engineer's mindset — someone who owns core accounting operations while using AI and automation to make Finance more accurate, efficient, and scalable. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role responsible for the month-end close, accounts payable, expenses, reconciliations, and audit readiness. You’ll identify manual processes, build practical automations, and partner across the organization to improve how work gets done. Automation is the throughline across everything you do. This role is ideal for someone with deep SaaS experience who takes pride in getting the numbers right. What You'll Do • Own the month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and supporting schedules • Own accounts payable, employee reimbursements, and corporate card programs, ensuring accurate coding and timely month-end accruals • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation • Partner with the Controller to continuously improve and automate the month-end close by identifying bottlenecks and designing AI-powe
