Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Bookkeeper to join our dynamic construction industry team. Responsibilities Enter and process vendor bills, subcontractor invoices, and material purchases Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable Track and allocate expenses to specific jobs/projects (job costing) Help maintain purchase orders and vendor records Assist with progress billing and client invoicing (AIA or milestone-based billing is a plus) Support payroll processing, including time tracking for field employees Maintain organized records for contracts, change orders, and lien releases Assist with month-end close and financi

Requisitos

Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles 0–2 years of experience (construction experience strongly preferred but not required) Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized across multiple projects Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines in a project-based environment Strong communication skills Preferred (Nice to Have): Exposure to construction accounting concepts (job costing, retainage, progress billing) Experience with software such as QuickBooks, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or RFMS Understanding of prevailing wage or certified payroll (if applicable) Coursework or degree in accounting, finance, or related field
