Students may be employed to perform civic education and participation activities in projects that teach civics in schools, raise awareness of government functions or resources, and increase civic participation. To the extent practicable, a school must give priority to the employment of students in projects that educate or train the public about evacuation, emergency response, and injury prevention strategies relating to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and other emergency situations. The primary goal is to ensure that the students receive appropriate training to carry out the educational services required. This position can be either on or off campus. Can work up to 19 hours per week. Pay: $15.00 an hour

Requisitos

High School Diploma or GED. Know and execute all food handling procedure. Provide a clean, safe and efficient operation of the Food Pantry. Receive, inspect and sort donated food items according to the category and condition as needed. Maintaining standards of operating procedures and confidentiality. Keep food pantry organized, well-stocked; lift/carry items to the appropriate destination for distribution to clients- i.e. scale, shelves, car. Maintain documents and paperwork, including food inventory and food log sheets. Preparing and submitting daily/weekly reports for guests and supplies necessary for operations.
