Located in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf, the gallery is a destination for visitors seeking meaningful, authentic, and locally made pieces. Position Summary: Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional, and engaging manner Share the story of Golden Gate Furniture Co. and other featured local makers Provide product education and help customers select meaningful items Operate the Square for Retail POS system to process transactions Keep the gallery tidy, organized, and visually appealing Restock shelves and monitor inventory levels Open and close the gallery independently during assigned shifts Represent the gallery and brand with pride, integrity, and enthusiasm Manage gallery’s social media during down time at the gallery Pick

Requisitos

Retail or gallery sales experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Enthusiastic about San Francisco, local art, and storytelling Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Tech-savvy with the ability to learn POS and inventory systems Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds without crying Weekend and holiday availability required Having a driver’s license Okay with shifting schedules during slow season (Fall & Winter) Dress Code: Business casual in black attire is required.
