About the opportunity: SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks three (3) Cultural Resources Field Technicians to join our Midwest cultural resources team, participating in cultural resource management projects across Michigan, Ohio, and or Indiana. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to solar energy and local government projects throughout the Midwest, ensuring compliance, preservation, and alignment with sustainable development goals. These are temporary, hourly, non-exempt, field-based assignments with an anticipated schedule of 40-50 hours per week, running from approximately April 2026 through June 2026. Requisitos

Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a closely related field, or working towards the completion of one of these degree programs. Completion of an accredited archaeological field school. Ability to travel to a location, walk, and conduct fieldwork for long hours, sometimes in inclement weather (including extreme heat and humidity), rugged terrain, often at high altitudes. Ability to carry equipment and supplies weighing 25-50 pounds. Current valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a 4wd vehicle on rugged, backcountry roads required.
