Summary: Responsible for responding appropriate equipment or personnel to emergency and non-emergency calls for fire and emergency medical services as well as on call department services. Identifies and dispatches appropriate units; complies with USAP policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all public safety responders and the public. Requisitos

High School diploma or GED Incident Command System (ICS) 100 and 200 certifications are required for offer consideration (training offered through FEMA). 2 years of emergency services (Fire, EMS, and/or Law Enforcement) dispatch experience. Must hold a valid emergency dispatcher certification from APCO, NENA, or a state agency, and/or a DoD Telecommunicator I/II certification. Computer skills required, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail applications. Good judgment and exceptional communication skills. Must have an ability to independently prioritize requests by level of urgency. Must have the ability to work unsupervised and possibly alone during various levels of urgency and call volume.
