Speath Engineering is in need of an Engineering Assistant in our Miami office. POSITION: Provides administrative and technical support to the Engineering Staff through the completion of various administrative tasks as related to the daily operation, planning, and growth of the company. Responsible for working closely with Engineering Staff on project administration and coordination, starting from initial job set up, design, permitting activities, through completion and close-out of projects. OPPORTUNITY: The individual obtaining this position will have the opportunity to work with a small design team led by a Senior Project Engineer of 25+ years of total industry experience. This will enable the individual to learn and grow in the Engineering / Development / Construction industry with hands-on project training relating to Civil-Site Development, Structural Engineering, Design, Project Management, and more. This is an opportunity to join on the ground-floor of a new Miami Engineering office with a structure modeled more closely with tech startups than old stuffy Engineering offices. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Requisitos

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Professional. Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments in a fast paced environment with concurrent deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with project-specific tasks as well as daily responsibilities. Must have valid Driver’s License. Minimum of an Associates Degree or Equal in a Science/Technology major or in final two semesters of Bachelor's Degree in Science/Engineering or related major. High degree of proficiency with computers required.
