Position Description Position Overview The Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented and technical-focused Property Tax Data Clerk II to join our team. Under the general supervision of the System Support Assistant Director, the Property Tax Data Clerk II is responsible for all system production tasks and activities related to the annual property tax cycle, with a primary focus on processing HCAD Certified and Supplemental/Correction data files. About the Tax Assessor-Collector The Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office is essential for ensuring the proper administration of tax laws and providing vital services to the community. The office plays a key role in local government, handling various financial and administrative tasks, including: Property Tax Collection: Assess and collect property taxes for all eligible commercial and residential property owners and entities. Calculate property taxes based on appraised values and ensure collection and distribution to the appropriate entities. Requisitos

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution within the U.S. Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a professional office environment, with experience in Data Analysis, or Production Support. Excellent reading comprehension and verbal/written communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and related applications for data analysis, documentation, and communication. Hands-on experience with FileZilla for data extraction, system navigation, and file management. Maintains high accuracy in data processing, reporting, and documentation.
