AMC achieves this through outdoor experiences, education, and conservation across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Position Summary The Part-Time Gear Library Coordinator supports gear lending and lodging operations at Stephen & Betsy Corman AMC Harriman Outdoor Center. This role ensures that outdoor equipment is accessible, organized, and well maintained for AMC members, lodging guests, volunteers, and partner groups including AMC's Outdoor Journey Fund programming. The Coordinator plays an important role in creating a welcoming and inclusive experience while helping reduce barriers to outdoor participation. What You'll Be Doing At AMC (80% Gear Lending – 20% Lodging Operations) Gear Lending Operations Manage gear check-out and return for guests, members, and AMC groups Fit and distribute equipment based on user needs and experience levels Maintain reservation sys

Requisitos

Strong organizational and time management skills Customer service or hospitality experience Interest in outdoor recreation Ability to lift and move gear up to 40 pounds Availability to work flexible hours including weekends Experience with outdoor equipment such as camping, hiking, paddling, or winter gear Familiarity with gear maintenance or repair Experience working with volunteers or community groups Interest in expanding access to the outdoors
