Book Distribution Center - Summer Employment Essential Job Functions 1. Receive, unpack, catalog new book order deliveries 2. Organize, rearrange, move books on shelves 3. Inventory books and calculators 4. Process/fill teacher book orders 5. Deliver book orders to classrooms 6. Retrieve books from drop off locations on the premises WORK ENVIRONMENT: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling and significant finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires sitting, walking and standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
