Job Description: Granite and Quartz Laborer Location: Oakland, CA Pay: $27 - $35 per hour Work type: In person Employment Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5 PM Position Overview: BluCAL is a leading construction company specializing in high-quality reconstruction work. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional results and fostering a safe, collaborative work environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Granite and Quartz Laborer to join our team. Responsibilities: · Fabricate granite and quartz countertops using shop tools and machinery. · Measure, cut, polish, and finish stone surfaces to specification. · Perform on-site installation of countertops, including leveling, securing, and sealing. · Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications. · Operate tools such as bridge saws, polishers, and grinders. · Ensure proper handling and transport of materials to prevent damage. · Maintain a clean and safe work environment in both shop and field settings. · Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients. Qualifications: · Minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication and installation of granite and quartz counter

Requisitos

Minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication and installation of granite and quartz countertops. Knowledge of stone fabrication techniques, edge profiles, and finishing methods. Ability to safely operate fabrication and installation tools/equipment. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100+ lbs with assistance). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
