ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Responsible for various duties assigned by department supervisors, campus leaders, or other staff members. Long-Term Temporary Worker: A long-term temporary worker is an employee that works 20 hours per week or more for more than 4 1/2 months. This position is required to pay into the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) at the current contribution rate of 8.0% and .65% for TRS Care. Student Employment: 1. Recommendation from a District department or campus. 2. At least 14 years old and currently enrolled in middle or high school. 3. Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language. 4. Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude, maintain confidentiality, and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District. Adult Employment: 1. Recommendation from a District department or campus. Must have met requirements for hire for the selected position. 2. High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred for all positions. 3.
