Evidence Supervisor

Under general supervision, the Supervisor – Evidence supervises the daily operational activities of the Evidence Unit in the storage and maintenance of evidence in a highly secure area to comply with statutory, accreditation and City policy requirements, priorities, time limitations and other specifications. Posted pay range is the starting salary. Pay rate offered is based on experience. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who excels at working with the public and communicates clearly, professionally, and with confidence. They understand the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and maintaining a meticulous chain of custody within a law enforcement environment. This person is organized, attentive to detail, and naturally inclined toward process improvement, while also being comfortable collaborating with officers, detectives, and other City staff. Requisitos

Graduation with an associate degree from an accredited college, technical, business, vocational, or correspondence school. Minimum of two (2) years working with the public and at least one (1) year in a similar job-related field. One (1) year experience in a lead or supervisory capacity is preferred. Additional experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
