Avant Garde Jewelers is a local family-owned jewelry store that has operated in Austin since 1976. We are full service, and our specialty is custom jewelry design, jewelry repair/restoration, and fine jewelry. In addition, our store is stocked with a unique blend of fine and fashion jewelry, and we are well known for our impeccable customer service. We are looking for someone to join our family and are eager to help with the day-to-day duties of running a fast-paced jewelry store and giving our customers an overall excellent experience. We have an opening on the administrative side of our custom design team. Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependability above all else. Job Details Carry out the administrative portion of the custom design process Maintain customer records, filing, printing/scanning, and store's filing system Answer and direct phone calls and emails Organize and schedule appointments Occasionally greet customers and assist with showing jewelry, placing orders, assist with repairs and check-out procedures Perform store opening and closing procedures, including putting out jewelry in the morning and storing jewelry at night Assist with keeping the

Requisitos

1+ years jewelry retail experience (preferred) Must be able to work the following schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00am-6:00pm. Mandatory overtime during the holiday season. Must be a team player with a willingness to learn Knowledge of jewelry and jewelry terms (preferred) Proven experience as an administrative assistant Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Proficiency in MS Office Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Education: High school required, some higher education preferred Experience: Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred) Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Relocate:
