Job Description: Student Worker, Library Department: Learning Innovation Pay Classification: $12/hr (PT) FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Coordinator of Library Services Job Summary: Support daily operations of the library department. Minimum Required Education: Must be Enrolled as a full-time student Must maintain above a 2.0 GPA Minimum Required Experience: Customer service and basic computer skills Core Duties and Required Knowledge: Provides exceptional customer service. Performs circulation desk functions such as answering patron questions – phone, email, and in-person – managing borrowed materials, managing room reservations, and collecting library usage statistics. Assists library users in locating material in the collections using the automated catalog. Performs collections maintenance such as shelving and shifting books. Strategic Vision and Program Development: Contribute to the growth and enhancement of the libraries by supporting events, fostering student engagement, and assist in continuous improvement of library operations.
