SEASONAL PARK KEEPER SALARY: $11.00 per hour GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The overall purpose and general responsibilities Under the supervision of the Park Manager, has the responsibility of greeting park guests, and providing the public with general information of the park rules and its amenities. Is a temporary non-supervisory position. Accountable for following the park policies and the collection of "conservation fees" and preparing revenue reports at end of shift. Exercise proper customer ethics to remedy disgruntled guests. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: General point of contact Reports to Park Manager. Communicates with the public, park guests, gate attendants and other co-workers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The fundamental duties and tasks which define the job Responsible for greeting guests and customers in a proper courteous and professional manner. Provide the public with information regarding the amenities of the parks, park hours, fees and park policies. Direct complaints to proper division manager, or assistant manager. Requisitos

A High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate is preferred. Must have good people person skills, and good cooperative working relationships with other employees. Must enjoy working with the public, have good verbal communication skills, and be able to present a professional image. Must enjoy working in an outdoor setting, be physically fit. Ability to speak English/Spanish is desirable. References will be thoroughly checked. Valid State of Texas Driver's License with good driving record is preferred but not required. Must be able to follow oral instructions. Must be able to perform strenuous work in on outdoor setting. Ability to communicate effectively, both in both English and Spanish.
