The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description In this dynamic and immersive position, you will: • Bring high-stakes situations to life, simulating events such as active shooter incidents, vehicular accidents, natural disasters, and hostage crises.• Participate in relevant trainings for the first responder community which focuses on Homeland Security, Natural Disaster Preparedness and Recovery, and Weapons of Mass Destruction.• Act in various roles — from innocent bystanders, victims, hostage takers, violent protestor to active shooter — to help responders practice life-saving decision-making.• Will be required to run, hide under and behind objects, yell, scream, cry, discharge training weapons, remain silent and more.• Follow established safety protocols and stay true to the script provided by the instructional team.• Engage in intense, realistic scenarios that may involve simulated gunfire, explosions, or traumatic injuries.• Adapt to various environments and weather conditions, with occasional nights and weekends required. Requisitos

Candidates must be physically able to perform the duties of the assigned role and be able to understand and follow directions in English. Candidates may be asked to operate a motor vehicle and possess and maintain an appropriate NYS motor vehicle driver's license.
