Assists with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, and assists with the flow of meal service. Promote safety and well-being of students as they interact during their lunch period. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Food Service Nutrition Coordinator and seeks consultation and oversight from the Head of School.QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Education equivalent to completion of high school or GEDKnowledge of basic first aid and training in Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Special Knowledge/Skills: Able to

Education equivalent to completion of high school or GED. Knowledge of basic first aid and training in Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently. Physically able to perform duties assigned at sufficient speed; work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills. Functional skills in reading and writing English. Knowledgeable about meal pattern requirements; understands federal, state, and local program regulations. Knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation procedures for food service. Mature ability to use judgment and be dependable. Skill in coping with a variety of students in varied situations. Prefer three months experience, preferably with children in a fast-paced environment.
