General Summary: Under the direction of the Assistant VP of Risk Management, the Export Control Officer and PIR Administrator is responsible for the facilitation of university compliance with policies and regulations that involve export control determinations or public information requests. This position will also assist Risk Management and Academic and Research Environmental health and Safety on special projects as directed. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Four (4) years of related work experience. Strong writing and editing skills, including technical writing and video manipulation software Ability to collect, write and report various types of data sets. Skilled in the use of MS Office and outlook to prepare reports, edit documents, and manage calendars. Ability to communicate effectively with others, in an academic setting.
