Job Title: Sales Associate (Discount Retail Store) Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our discount retail team. This role involves assisting customers, maintaining store organization, and supporting daily operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Operate cash register, handle transactions accurately, and provide receipts Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness Assist with unloading trucks and processing new inventory Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or discrepancies Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and promotions Help prevent loss by following store policies and procedures Support sales promotions, markdowns, and seasonal displays Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly wage Employee discounts Opportunities for advancement

Requisitos

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends Preferred Traits: Positive attitude and strong work ethic Team-oriented mindset Ability to multitask and stay organized Experience in discount, liquidation, or high-turnover retail environments
