We're Hiring! We're looking for a warm, curious person to join our team and help our community feel right at home in our shop. About Us: Hooley Market is a specialty food market and home goods shop rooted in our neighborhood. We carry a carefully chosen mix of artisan foods, pantry staples, gifts, and home goods — the kind of things you want to give, keep, and share. We also host in-store events a few times a year that bring our community together around food and makers we love. What You'll Do Welcome customers and create a genuine, unhurried shopping experience Share your knowledge of our products — from cheeses and pantry staples to gifts and home goods Handle checkout, cash, and card transactions with care and accuracy Keep the shop floor looking its best — stocking, tidying, and restocking displays Help set up and run in-store events (a few times a year) Receive and help organize incoming inventory

Requisitos

A genuinely friendly, people-first attitude — you enjoy real conversations with customers An interest in food, cooking, or home goods (no expertise required — enthusiasm goes a long way) A creative streak — you notice what's working, spot opportunities, and aren't shy about sharing ideas for displays, products, or events Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility Problem solving abilities Comfortable on your feet during shifts Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
