Production Stage Manager The Production Stage Manager will support the restaging of a children’s theatrical production in San Francisco, with Performances on weekends, we look to present in San Francisco, the Bay Area and on-call for US touring. This is an hourly position / NON-UNION PRODUCTION. The Production Stage Manager will be responsible for coordinating rehearsal, technical, and performance operations, maintaining clear communication among the creative, production, technical, and performing teams, and helping ensure that the restaged production runs smoothly and consistently. Responsibilities include: Serve as the main communication link between the director, producers, performers, production staff, venue team, and technical crew. Support the production by coordinating audition schedules, sign-in sheets or materials, communicating rehearsal calls after performers are hired, tracking performer availability, maintaining contact sheets, helping with contracts/paperwork flow, organizing substitutes/swings only with producer/director approval. Requisitos

Strong understanding of theater production processes and stage management techniques Excellent communication skills for liaising with cast, crew, directors, and technical teams Public speaking ability to give clear instructions during rehearsals and performances Experience with musical productions is a plus due to the coordination required for movement/singing on stage Ability to guide team members in stage procedures Writing skills for creating detailed cue sheets, reports, and safety protocols Passion for theater arts combined with a proactive attitude to problem-solving under pressure
