About Role: The Lab Technician is responsible for Quality Assurance activities associated with testing chemicals, writing test reports and communicating with customers at the distribution centers. This position is required to ensure all product ships on time ensuring compliance with customer specific requirements and traceability, thereby avoiding non-conformance to the end user. Additionally, the Lab Technician will learn QA Technician responsibilities to assist Quality during downtime. QA Technicians are responsible for inspecting and verifying that the quality assurance documents received are applicable, complete and accurate in relation to the product received, in accordance with department work instructions. High School Diploma or GED. Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, AS 9120 preferred. Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently perform root cause analysis and conduct thorough research. Demonstrated skills in utilizing inventory management systems for data entry, audit, and research is required. Proven ability to respond to urgent requests from multiple sources and handle mutliple assignments simultaneously. Proven ability to work well and provide quality service to internal customers, as needed. Proven excellence in customer service and professional communication across multiple levels of the organization is required.
