Job Summary The Shade Tree & Accessories is a retail store specializing in lamp shades and lamps. We are currently looking for a part time and full time Sales Associate. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has an appreciation for lamp shades and lamps as elements of home decor, and takes pride in providing a thoughtful and attentive customer experience. Duties Include Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on lamp shades, lamps and home decor Assist customers with selecting merchandise that meets their needs and preferences Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns Ensure products are well-organized and visually appealing through effective merchandising Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product demonstrations, and resolving issues promptly Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and organizing back stock for easy access

Requisitos

Positive and professional attitude Ability to effectively engage with customers Interest in home decor and design, particularly in lamp shades and lamps Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store presentation standards Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Creative mind set and problem solving skills Familiarity with retail merchandising principles to create attractive displays that promote sales Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, reach overhead, lift up to 50 lbs. climb a ladder/step stool
