Mistras Group, Inc is seeking API 510-570 Inspectors local to the Greater Houston area for a full-time, nested position in Baytown, TX. 4x10 Schedule with possible OT. No per diem offered. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES: Perform internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain the mechanical integrity of the fixed equipment of the refinery. Perform visual inspection of completed work and recommend and approve repairs. Assist in the scheduling of activities related to inspection. Use of proper safety procedures and equipment. Properly use and complete customer and company job related forms and paperwork. Abide by Company policies and procedures. Complete all required training, including tests, within Company guidelines. Perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice. Prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines. Deliver reports to clients. Work outdoors in a plant atmosphere. Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels. Wear required safety equipment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Possess the related API 510/570 certification with at least one year of related experience

Requisitos

Possess the related API 510/570 certification with at least one year of related experience. Understanding of traditional NDE. New construction experience highly preferred. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred. Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel and be able to write detailed inspection reports. Must have the ability to lift and carry 35 pounds. Capable of climbing, working at high elevations and working in confined spaces. Must be able to walk and climb to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells. Must have sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits
