Join our team! Position Announcement Farm Stand Attendant : Recreation Attendant Hilltop Hanover Farm & Environmental Center is hiring a part-time Farm Stand Attendant. We are seeking candidates who can work directly with the Farm Stand Manager to ensure that our patrons have the best possible experience. The position will be for Sundays while the Farm Stand is open and Thursdays – Sunday in July and August. Who We Are Hilltop Hanover Farm & Environmental Center is dedicated to the practices of sustainable agriculture, environmental stewardship, community education, and the creation of access to healthy food systems. Hilltop is a 60-acre working farm and educational center operated by Westchester County Parks, Recreation, and Conservation that uses organic practices to grow produce, flowers, and seeds for a market-style CSA, on-site farm stand, and native plant nursery. The farm offers educational programming throughout the year and the property is open to the public, free of charge, year round. Requisitos

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and knowledge manner Retail experience preferred Comfortably lift 40lbs and perform repetitive tasks Experience working with Point of Sale systems preferred Stock and arrange produce in a pleasing display Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm stand Establish and maintain a positive and effective working relationship with vendors, the public, volunteers, and co-workers Comfortable working independently or as part of a team Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with diverse clientele & Farm Stand Manager Work in all weather conditions. Comfortably able to lift 40lbs and perform repetitive tasks Background Check required
